WeDort is a scheduled moving and transport service for Vienna and its surroundings. We handle furniture pickups, small apartment moves, marketplace collections (IKEA, XXXLutz, Willhaben, Shpock) and planned deliveries — each job is reserved in advance with a confirmed date, time slot and price.
Open the WeDort app, enter pickup and drop-off, pick a date and time, add helpers if you need loading assistance and confirm the payment. You receive a confirmation with your booking reference before the job starts. Bookings are scheduled — WeDort does not offer on-demand dispatch at launch.
At launch WeDort operates in Vienna and within a 35 km radius around the city. Routes from pickup to drop-off can be up to 200 km long, which lets us handle moves from Vienna to surrounding towns. More Austrian cities will be added as we scale.
Pricing is transparent and upfront: €40 per hour for the vehicle + €20 per hour per helper, billed in 30-minute increments. Inside Vienna, the first 10 km are free and then €0.30/km. Outside Vienna, per-km rates step up (0–50 km €0.50, 50–100 km €0.80, 100–200 km €1.00). A 3% payment processing fee applies. You see the total before you confirm the booking.
At launch WeDort offers one vehicle: the XL Transporter — a large van big enough for a studio or one-bedroom move. Smaller vans and larger trucks are planned and will appear in the app as additional sizes become available.
Yes. When booking you can add helpers (€20 per helper per hour). The driver and any helpers arrive prepared to load, unload and carry items — tell us the floor and whether there is a lift so the job is planned correctly.
You can cancel a booking from the app. Cancellation and refund eligibility are reviewed by our team — we look at timing, whether a driver was already dispatched, and the reason. Refunds are not automatic; once approved they are processed back to your original payment method.
Yes. WeDort operates under Austrian trade law (GISA 36705269). All drivers on the network are licensed and insured for the vehicles they drive, and goods transported through WeDort are covered during the job.
